A braided crown gathered low

A braided outline circles the head while the gathered length leaves the neckline open.

Why choose it

This direction puts the braid around the face and head instead of down the back. Compare it with the low braid if you want visible woven texture but would rather keep the lower neckline clear.

Make it yours

Ask the stylist which parts can be achieved with your own hair and what any additional pieces would involve. Decide whether the crown or the low gathered section should be the stronger feature. A small accent is optional.

Bring these questions

  • Which braid placement is comfortable around my hairline?
  • What will the back look like without a veil?
  • How are the fastenings removed at the end of the day?

Coily texture gathered high

A high gathered shape preserves visible coily texture; a sheer veil is positioned beneath it.
